How to pay attention to waterproofing of electric vehicles on rainy days?

A rainy day is very unfriendly to friends who ride electric bikes. Riding a bicycle on rainy days requires special care for electric vehicles. Once an electric bicycle is infiltrated by rainwater, it will have three effects on the car:

Although the motor controller is a waterproof design method, the waterproof performance is usually not particularly good. The controller is easily short-circuited and out of control when it is immersed in water. Water in the battery car controller can easily cause the motor to reverse, and it can directly cause the controller to burn out in severe cases. If water enters the motor, the joints will be short-circuited, especially when the water level is deep, if the drying process is not performed, it is very easy to cause leakage and fire.

If water enters the battery box, it will directly cause a short circuit between the positive and negative poles. The minor consequence is to damage the battery, and the serious consequence is to directly cause the battery to burn. So will electric cars get water in rainy days? What should I do if water enters the battery?

Water in the battery, dry it and then recharge: Electric cars generally take waterproof measures, so it is not important that the electric car is wet by rain, but this does not mean that the electric car can go through the water at will. Here is a special reminder to all car owners, do not charge the battery of an electric car immediately after it is wetted by rain, and be sure to dry the car in a well-ventilated place. Before turning on the power, wipe the battery and connect the socket with a rag or paper towel, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of dangerous situations such as power short circuit, transmission, motor burnout and so on.

Water in the controller is easy to short circuit and out of control: once the controller of the battery car gets water, it is easy to cause the motor to reverse. After the electric car is seriously immersed, the owner can remove the controller, wipe off the internal water with a hair dryer, and then install it. After installation, it is better to wrap the controller with plastic to increase the water resistance.

Do not wading forcibly on the water-soil section: the water resistance is very large, which can easily cause the balance to lose control. Riding on the water-soil section, if you encounter a manhole cover opened by the water, it is very dangerous. The car advances well. It is recommended to charge after the rain stops to prevent accidents caused by water entering the electric vehicle. If you really need it, try to choose a place covered by the canopy for charging; if there is no canopy for outdoor charging, it is recommended to cover the power supply and interface, and remember not to wrap the power supply to avoid charging accidents caused by delayed heat dissipation.
