What are the precautions for lithium battery chargers?

Before charging the lithium-ion battery, first confirm whether the lithium battery charger is in a normal state. To judge whether the charger is good or not, you can connect the charger to 220V AC, check whether the green light is on, the green light is always on, it means normal, and the rest (the light is off, the light is flashing, the red light is on, etc.) means that the charger is damaged. The damaged charger must not be used, and it is recommended to replace it quickly.

Lead-acid batteries and lithium-ion battery chargers cannot be mixed for the following reasons: the materials of lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries are inconsistent, so they cannot be used. Lead-acid battery chargers are generally set to two-stage or three-stage charging mode, and the voltage levels of lithium batteries and lead-acid batteries do not match. The fast charging station is only suitable for lead-acid, not for lithium batteries. If a lead-acid charger is used to charge the lithium battery, it will cause the lithium battery to overcharge, which is not good for the lithium battery. In the light of the battery, it will end its life early, and in the worst case, it will cause a safety accident.

Precautions for the use of the charger

1. The charging voltage and current of the lithium battery charger should be the same as that of the electric vehicle, and the 48V battery cannot be charged with the 60V battery charger;

2. Pay attention when charging, first plug in the battery charging port, and then plug in the power plug;

3. When charging, the charger should display a red light. After fully charged, the green light turns on. If the charging port is plugged in and the green light is always on, find out the reason for not charging;

4. If it is not used for a long time, it should be fully charged, turn off the main switch under the seat, and put it indoors or in a cool and dry place;

5. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble and repair the lithium battery charger privately, because there is a high voltage inside and there is a risk of electric shock, especially in the case of wet hands;

6. Don't use charging near flammable and explosive gas, which is easy to cause fire;

7. When charging, the charger will emit heat. It should be used in a ventilated place as much as possible. It should not be placed under the seat of an electric car for charging; it should not be carried with the car to prevent damage to the charger due to long-term bumps;

8. If the charger is found to be abnormal during the charging process, immediately unplug the power plug and send it to the purchaser to find out the cause.
