An Inverter Charger combines an AC battery charger and an AC inverter in one single unit with automatic bypass transfer.

All in One Inverter Charger
While grid power is available, the unit remains in standby state and consumes merely a tiny amount of standby power. Once grid supply fails, the unit fully cuts off, drawing no power at all. Sleep mode: The unit runs under sleep status with low standby power draw only. Auto operating mode: It enables automatic charging and discharging and prioritizes utility power. When charging and a bypass load exists, the bypass supply will be prioritized; charging capacity drops when bypass power demand increases. Without bypass loads, the unit will charge the battery at its maximum rated power. For discharging operation, the power module will decouple from grid side and deliver electricity to loads through the bypass path. When utility power comes back, the bypass will automatically switch back to grid supply, meanwhile the unit switches into battery charging status.
